Pharmacist Role Overview
A skilled Pharmacist is required to work at a pharmacy, covering maternity leave for 13 months.
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense and supply medications and pharmacy products to patients
* Coordinate medication requirements for patients, including discharges and outpatient needs
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, carers, and hospital staff
* Attend to front-of-shop duties and support the day-to-day operations of the dispensary
* Educate customers on medication use, health promotion, and general pharmacy queries
* Support patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees in a retail pharmacy environment
* Prepare and package medications as necessary
* Participate in other dispensary duties as needed
About You
We're looking for a registered pharmacist who is reliable, approachable, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Eligibility Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with no restrictions on practice
* Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
* Australian working rights, valid for at least 13-months from time of employment
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to work autonomously and multitask
* Retail pharmacy experience is welcomed but not essential
