Junior reliability/technical engineer

Applied Industrial Technologies – Northam WA

We're looking for a newly graduated Engineer (Mechanical) or someone who's about to graduate to join our team in Northam.

You'll start off your career as an Internal Sales/Parts Interpreter and as you start to learn and develop within the business, you'll have the opportunity to progress into a more technical sales role.

A little bit about the role:

• Attend to counter, telephone and online orders and enquiries
• Follow up customer quotes
• Assist in converting customer quotes to sales
• Process customer orders including sourcing, packing and despatch
• Promoting Applied's product, service and solutions range to fulfill customer needs
• Manage technical relationships with customers
• Handle all technical enquiries and coordinate suppliers from a technical perspective
• Assist in preparing and facilitate training
• and much more as you develop in the role

You'll also have exposure to our subject matter experts in our Reliability & Services Department.

• You've got proven customer service experience, ideally in the industrial retail sector
• You've got a strong mechanical aptitude
• You're great at multitasking and prioritising
• You've got great interpersonal and communication skills
