Job Title: Postal Delivery Driver
We are seeking a reliable and responsible delivery professional to transport mail and parcels to residential and business addresses. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and secure deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect, sort, and load mail and packages into the vehicle.
* Drive a designated route to deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses.
* Obtain signatures for tracked or registered items as required.
* Return undelivered mail and report delivery issues.
* Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times.
* Represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner.
* Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any defects.
Requirements:
* A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* The ability to lift and carry bulky items.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
* Must pass a police check.
* Must pass a drug and alcohol screening.
