Role Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Trainee in General Practice is to provide safe, high-quality care, assess, and manage patients in the Emergency Department and inpatient wards under supervision. The trainee should be aware of their limitations and work collaboratively.
Decisions and supervision will be appropriate to the trainee's skills and experience, with increasing independence over time, always under the guidance of an Attending Medical Officer. All patient care is overseen by specialists, and communication with them is essential.
