As you complete your Certificate III in Travel & Tourism, you will contribute to a growing business by leveraging your travel knowledge, selling preferred products, and building strong relationships with local community members.
About the Job
You'll commence your career in travel by providing administrative and sales support to our experienced consultants, as you develop and become familiar with the travel industry you'll begin to move into a sales consultant role. There's a lot to learn - in our industry you need to know the entire world! It's a challenge - but we'll provide you with the tools and training required to succeed in the role.
Working in a small team you will:
* Greet clients, book appointments, and qualify their needs to provide exceptional customer service.
* Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming office environment.
* Engage with clients to understand their travel aspirations, preferences, and budget constraints.
* Collaborate with preferred partners, airlines, hotels, and tour operators to ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
* Use in-house platforms and global distribution systems to book and confirm travel arrangements. Work with our preferred partners to confirm availability, pricing and details.
* Maintain accurate and up to date customer and booking records in our internal reservation system.
* Prepare accurate and tailored travel documents for clients who are departing on a trip of a lifetime using our Helloworld Trips platform.
* Assist customers with further bookings whilst on journey or make alternative travel arrangements.
About you
* You have ideally worked in face to face customer service roles - sales, administration & reception duties highly regarded.
* Proficiency to quickly navigate and multi-task multiple complex booking systems and software.
* Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets and service objectives.
* Passion for travel, curiosity about different cultures, and a willingness to go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for clients.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
* Have completed your high school studies.
