Practice Nurse – Casual
Location: Drysdale Clinic, Bellarine Peninsula
Drysdale Clinic is seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse (RN) to join our team on a casual basis.
With over 30 years of service to the Bellarine community, Drysdale Clinic is proud to be a trusted and longstanding part of the region. Our contemporary facility includes a newly renovated 14 room general practice and a 5 bed treatment room, which operates as the hub of our clinic with daily triage and walk‐in services and supported by our dedicated team of doctors and nurses.
We're a tight‐knit, energetic team that values collaboration, respect, and genuine care for both our patients and one another. If you're an experience practice nurse with a passion for primary care nursing and a calm, confident approach to a busy treatment room, we'd love to hear from you.
What We're Looking For:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Minimum 2 years' experience in general practice nursing
* Robust assessment and critical thinking skills
* Confidence in multitasking and prioritising emergencies
* Calm, collected, and adaptable in high‐pressure situations
* A team player who brings positivity and flexibility
* Willingness to pick up shifts as needed
You'll Need Proven Experience In:
* ECGs
* Childhood immunisations
* General and travel immunisations (including COVID)
* Procedures and excisions
* Triage
* Iron infusions
* assist with Mirena insertions
* Skin procedures
* Care Plans & Health Assessments
Experience using Best Practice software is highly regarded.
