About the role
BSN Trading is seeking an experienced Gardener/Groundskeeper to join our team in Roma, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaping of our properties. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our outdoor spaces are well-kept and presentable.
What you'll be doing
- Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas
- Planting, watering, and caring for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees
- Weeding, mulching, and maintaining garden beds
- Clearing pathways and maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools
- Identifying and addressing any issues or problems in the landscaping
- Providing input on landscaping improvements and projects
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a gardener, groundskeeper, or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, irrigation and grounds maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of landscaping equipment
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- A passion for maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces
