Overview
Your Impact As a Business Development Executive within our Retail Field Sales team, you'll be responsible for growing distribution, volume, profitability and brand presence across a large regional retail territory in Far North Queensland.
Location: Cairns / Far North Queensland
This is a field-based role where you'll take ownership of your customer base, execute in-store priorities, and bring the One Asahi strategy to life through our multi-beverage portfolio. You'll work autonomously day-to-day, building strong customer relationships while delivering against clear commercial and executional targets.
Key Accountabilities
* Grow distribution, volume and profitability across a mix of corporate grocery and corporate liquor customers
* Execute commercial plans in-store including range, space, visibility, pricing, promotions and compliance standards
* Deliver effective call coverage and frequency across a large regional territory
* Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer business drivers and needs
* Conduct regular business performance reviews to identify gaps, risks and growth opportunities
* Use sales data, tools and insights to consistently meet or exceed KPIs
* Manage and optimise your own journey plan with flexibility to move calls as required
* Represent the One Asahi strategy through execution of our multi-beverage portfolio
About You
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a large territory
* Experience in field sales, FMCG, retail, or customer-facing roles, or motivated to step into field sales with training and support
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills
* Organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage time effectively
* Resilient and adaptable, with a practical mindset suited to regional travel
* Comfortable with regular regional driving
* Hold a current unrestricted driver's licence
