About the Role
We are looking for a high energy, results driven National Sales Manager to lead growth initiatives across Australia. This role involves building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional outcomes.
You will be a key driver of the national business development strategy, leveraging an extensive existing network and delivering measurable results. You will have the autonomy to make an impact while working with Branch Managers, Account Managers, and Recruiters who support client success. We enable you to pursue opportunities throughout Australia through our extensive branch network.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement national business development strategies to accelerate revenue growth and market expansion
* Identify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships
* Manage a high value pipeline of new clients and bring your existing relationships with you
* Consistently achieve individual performance goals, exceeding growth targets
* Apply disciplined sales process, ensuring structured activity and accountability — outcomes are measured, not call volume
* Represent AWX and PeopleIN at industry events, building networks and elevating brand presence
* Exposure to monitoring and composing tenders is highly beneficial
About You
You are a self‐starter with a strategic mindset and a passion for winning new business, able to turn opportunities into results in a fast‐paced, competitive environment.
* Proven experience in business development or sales leadership, ideally within recruitment, labour hire, or workforce management
* An extensive existing network that can be leveraged to drive growth
* Flexibility across industries, with preference for experience in mining, major projects, government, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics
* A strong track record as a consistent high achiever, setting the standard in activity and outcomes
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding individual growth targets
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to adopt CRM
* A proactive, results‐oriented approach with the ability to work independently
