We now have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Support Officer to join our busy Client Delivery Team, based at our Southport office.
Our way of managing files is unique compared to the traditional criminal law landscape. We pride ourselves on ensuring our Client Delivery Team has the training, knowledge, and support to make decisions and play a significant role in the matter's progression. It's a rewarding role for those who can multitask, stay calm and have a genuine desire to grow professionally.
This is a critical and varied administrative role supporting the legal team’s needs and involves significant client contact.
Key Duties Include.. .
* Handling phone enquiries and outbound calls
* A full range of office tasks such as scanning, filing, printing, processing mail, etc.
* Preparing letters and documents
* Supporting clients mostly by phone throughout their journey from first contact to the completion of their matter
* Assisting the legal team with obtaining documents
* Preparing court documentation
* Communicating with stakeholders (Police, Prosecutors, Barristers, Others Lawyers)
The Ideal Candidate.. .

* Demonstrable (1 year plus) office experience in a fast-paced environment serving multiple internal and external stakeholders
* Good typing ability, great time management and proficient IT skills - including use of MS Office with MacOS
* Strong verbal and written communication and a high standard of English
* A genuine interest in working in a criminal law environment and the ability to articulate that interest
