Join us to make a difference as we embark on our next stage.Our Service: The Medicare Mental Health Centre service model is tailored to the needs of the local community, offering a combination of peer-led recovery and clinical support to provide a warm, welcoming, and high-quality experience, including: immediate mental health support for short-term needs.On offer:Based in Caboolture, QLDPermanent, part-time opportunitySalary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards – discounts from hundreds of retailersOne paid wellbeing leave day per yearOption to purchase up to 5 additional leave days annuallyPaid parental leave supportSupportive team environmentExcellent training and career development opportunitiesRole Overview:This is an exciting newly created position for a passionate and experienced Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join the Medicare Mental Health Centre’s multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, person-centred care.You will deliver specialist mental health services, including crisis response and episodes of care tailored to client needs.Prescribe medications within scope and according to care plans.Provide brief evidence-based psychological interventions and therapeutic management for individuals and groups.Support and advise family members, significant others, and healthcare professionals.Liaise with referring organisations and develop referral pathways with local GPs and health services.Requirements:Registration as a Nurse Practitioner (endorsed in Mental Health) with current annual practicing certificate from AHPRA.Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).Current Prescriber Number & Credentialed status with ACMHN.Demonstrated clinical competence and experience as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.Experience in crisis care provision.Strong interpersonal skills, including reflective practice.Understanding of issues relevant to people with mental illness, including CALD and First Nations backgrounds.Significant clinical experience in acute or sub-acute settings with crisis care.Must be eligible for a Blue Card and willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.Stride is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
