Responsibilities
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their drivers, goals and objectives, and effectively manage their requirements and expectations.
* Elicit, document and gain approval of business processes and requirements.
* Perform gap analysis to identify differences between current state and desired future state.
* Perform options analysis to bridge identified gaps and present potential solutions for assessment and selection.
* Translate business requirements to user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications and test cases.
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage defects through to resolution.
* Identify and manage risks and issues related to initiative and project objectives and delivery.
* Assist in project closure by overseeing acceptance, transition to routine operations, ROI achievement, and lessons learned.
About You
* Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role working on complex technology projects.
* The ability to independently manage and complete multiple large projects on schedule, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to change.
* Experience in applying structured analysis techniques and critical thinking to form views and provide evidence-based decision making.
* The capability to understand and apply complex policy and technical concepts to IT solution design, development, and implementation activities.
* The proficiency to identify, assess and manage risks, including implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Clear, concise and articulate oral and written communication with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
* Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and work cohesively with a geographically dispersed team.
* A customer focus to ensure products meet end-user needs and requirements.
* Experience with Agile Project Methodology, with a preference for experience using Atlassian Service Suite.
* Understanding of the Australian energy sector and the role and objectives of the AER, or the ability to quickly acquire it.

Salary: $127,908 to $141,555 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
