Join a dedicated team supporting women and children within the Birthing Unit at Campbelltown Hospital. As an Administration Clinical Support Officer, you’ll contribute to a warm, fast‑paced environment where your work directly supports midwives, the Midwifery Unit Manager, and the multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include data entry, report preparation, invoicing, filing, secretariat support for meetings, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation that helps the unit run smoothly.
In this vital role, you’ll also support rosters, recruitment processes, and daily ward coordination, ensuring that staff have the information and materials they need for effective patient care. You’ll assist with stock management, provide relief for ward clerks when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement activities that enhance quality and efficiency across the service. Your initiative and ability to make sound day‑to‑day decisions will help the unit deliver reliable, patient‑focused outcomes.

You’ll excel in this role if you can demonstrate resilience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high‑volume environment. You’ll work closely with managers to problem‑solve daily challenges, support them in meeting their accountabilities, and communicate confidently and courteously with people at all levels. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office programs—including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint—are essential.

If you don’t yet hold a Certificate III in Health Administration, you’ll undertake this qualification while working in the role. Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 1. Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
3. Demonstrated computer literacy including, spreadsheets and database software in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
4. Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
5. Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment.
