Technical Resources is recruiting an experienced
Electrical Construction Supervisor
to join a Tier 1 mining client. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing electrical construction activities across site, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery.
This role is offered on a
2:1 FIFO roster
, based across Pilbara operations, reporting directly to the Electrical Superintendent.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for supervising electrical works across multiple contractors, ensuring compliance, safety, quality and progress in line with the project and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support multiple contracting companies on site
Review and accept Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Conduct punch list walkdowns and quality checks
Manage isolation requirements and ensure safe systems of work
Review and interpret electrical and construction drawings
Liaise with Superintendents, site teams, contractors and stakeholders
Coordinate with commissioning teams for handover activities
Conduct field leadership interactions and promote safety culture
Ensure compliance with internal BMS and HSE obligations
Report hazards/incidents and follow established safety protocols
Mentor and support workforce capability and team development
Uphold company values and Code of Conduct
About You
WA A-Grade Electrical Licence or relevant tertiary electrical qualifications
Minimum
10+ years
electrical experience, including
5+ years
in a supervisory role within mining
High Voltage Switching certification
Cert IV in Instrumentation & Controls (advantageous)
Experience in fibre and communications networks
Knowledge of Australian standards, codes and regulations
Experience with completions management systems
Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
Background in HV networks (overhead and/or underground) highly regarded
