First Nations Sessional Lecturer in Social Work Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable First Nations professionals to contribute to our teaching team as sessional lecturers in social work.
The successful applicants will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and practice of future social workers, focusing on cultural safety and self-determination.
They will be responsible for delivering interactive workshops, marking assessments, managing classroom administration, and supporting students in creating culturally safe and inclusive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering 3-hour workshops on campus
* Marking assessments and managing classroom administration
* Supporting and advising students
* Contributing to culturally safe and inclusive learning environments
Requirements:
* A Master's-level qualification in Social Work (preferred)
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Extensive experience as a practicing Social Worker
* A commitment to advancing cultural safety and First Nations perspectives in education
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Experience or interest in tertiary education and mentoring
