Our client, a leading company in the building manufacturing industry, is currently seeking experienced End of Line/Forklift Operators. The ideal candidates will be responsible for all aspects of machine operation, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Strong verbal and numerical skills are essential, and applicants should be comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be available for rotating shifts. Shift hours : 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am
About the role;
* Set up, operate, and monitor various machinery or production lines to ensure smooth production.
* Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure the correct production speed and quality.
* Conduct regular checks to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
* Inspect products for defects, irregularities, or damages during production and take corrective actions if necessary.
* Maintain a clean and orderly production area to prevent contamination or defects.
* Perform basic maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubricating, and changing parts to ensure smooth equipment operation.
* Track and record production output, including quantities produced, downtime, and reasons for delays
* Work with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and address any challenges.
* Assist other operators or staff in various tasks as required to maintain production flow
* Provide feedback on production processes and suggest improvements for efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Skills & Experience
* Microsoft Office
* Attention to Detail
* Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
* Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or operating production machinery is preferred.
* Forklift License is desirable.
