Job Title
Cleanliness is next to excellence in this role as a Housekeeper at a 4-5 star hotel.
* Service and clean hotel rooms for check-in and outs
* Maintain and clean the public areas of the hotel
* Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
* Check supplies, equipment and housekeeping trolleys ensuring that at all times they are fully stocked and neatly presented for use in a guest area
* Constantly monitor room status discrepancies and report to the Housekeeping Department and Front Office immediately
* Direct work and suggest the replacement of equipment to maintain best conditions
* Drive productivity
About You…
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
* A minimum of one year's working experience within a similar position within a 4-5 star hotel
* Experience with cleaning the public areas of a venue
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to recognise reoccurring cleaning issues
* Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
* A friendly and positive attitude
* The ability to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues
