We're seeking an experienced Population Health Equity Lead who can drive foundational work to understand need, gather and analyse data, develop implementation plans, and set measurable targets over time.

* The ideal candidate will also be skilled at navigating complex health and social issues with cultural sensitivity, while developing and delivering a long-term plan for advancing health equity.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead foundational work to understand need, gather and analyse data, develop implementation plans, and set measurable targets over time.
2. Shape and deliver advocacy, policy, programs and awareness campaigns that deliver on our vision to advance health equity.
3. Collaborate with communities and stakeholders to co-design programs that promote equitable access and advance health equity for priority populations.
4. Build capability across the organisation to ensure health equity is embedded across all our programs.
5. Develop and deliver a long-term plan for advancing health equity.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in public health, population health or health promotion.
* Deep knowledge about health equity and the social determinants of health and their impact on cardiovascular disease.
* Skilled at navigating complex health and social issues with cultural sensitivity.
* Comfortable with research, data analysis, and translating insights into action.
* An excellent relationship builder and advocate.
