Skyscraper Tower Cranes is a Sydney-based tower crane hire company and also consists of a team of highly skilled Tower Crane Operators, Tower Crane Riggers and Dogman.
We are seeking a full time Electrical Engineering Technician who will be effectively and efficiently assisting electrical engineers and site supervisors via assemble, install, repair and layout of electrical installations and machinery.
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, or repair electrical machinery, operations equipment, and functional criteria of crane units.
- Assembling electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Evaluating engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria and recommend approval or disapproval.
- Conducting inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results.
- Analysing and interpreting test information to resolve design-related problems.
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists with research and collecting relevant data.
**Requirements/Skills Qualification**:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Able to be practical and having technical ability
- Able to undertake detailed and accurate work
- Great problem-solving skills
