The Employment Consultant plays a vital role in supporting Real Futures' mission to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through sustainable employment opportunities.

What will you be doing?
Provide case management for aspirants receiving Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support services
Build and maintain positive relationships with employers
Conduct workplace visits
Maintain regular contact with aspirants, offering mentoring, motivation, and guidance
Refer, book, and complete Ongoing Support Assessments with assigned assessors
Collect and record all required evidence to support and process employment outcomes
Utilise JobAccess and the Supported Wage System
Prepare and submit accurate documentation for Ongoing and Post Placement Support outcomes
Maintain detailed and compliant case notes in Job Ready Live
Ensure all activities comply with IEA Agreement, WHS, and organisational policies and procedures
Who are we looking for?
Someone who as the ability to overcome objections and break down employment barriers that exist for people
Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers and build sustainable relationships
Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
An understanding or ability to learn how to work with potential employers to source employment
Well-developed problem-solving skills

Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
