Senior Project Manager – RAC WA
RAC WA seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for a 12‑month contract based in Perth, Western Australia. The role supports two major IT initiatives: data separation and migration of Oracle and integration of Workday and ADP HR systems.
Responsibilities
* Strategic project governance & delivery – control schedule, scope, budget, risks and dependencies for complex applications and infrastructure projects.
* Cross‑functional solution design – collaborate with RAC teams to shape approaches that meet business objectives, designing implementation strategies and processes.
* Risk, compliance & quality assurance – anticipate and mitigate delivery risks, embed regulatory requirements, and maintain rigorous documentation and reporting.
* Resource & artefact management – determine resourcing needs, steer day‑to‑day development of project artefacts, and optimise deployment of internal and external resources.
* Executive reporting & governance – produce clear status reports and Steering Committee presentations, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
* Change leadership & business readiness – orchestrate engagement, communications, training and go‑live activities to embed change and provide robust post‑implementation support.
* High‑performance team & stakeholder leadership – inspire project teams and service providers, cultivate strong relationships, and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualifications in business are desirable.
* Strong ability to manage ambiguous situations and guide team members through them while building trust.
* Qualifications in project management (e.g., Prince2, MSP) are highly desirable.
* Significant experience in developing and leading cross‑functional teams to achieve goals.
* Experience with both waterfall and agile project methodologies.
