We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - English for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Armadale Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School dedicated to providing students from Year 7 to 12 with strong academic achievement and positive engagement. The Role
Armadale SHS is looking to appoint a competent and highly dedicated English Teacher. The suitable applicants should have a deep belief that every student is capable of successful learning and utilise high impact teaching strategies and exhibit how they seek and implement constant improvement in their own practice.
The suitable applicants will be able to display how they will provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve to their highest potential. In addition, the ability to engage students using a range of skills, knowledge of effective classroom management strategies and restorative practices will be considered favourably.
The suitable applicants will ideally be committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. They should be motivated, practical, hardworking and innovative and possess outstanding interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will ideally pursue excellence in classroom teaching and provide encouragement and support to all colleagues. The successful applicant should make student academic achievement the core of their work. Additionally, a positive attitude and an appetite for challenge are highly desirable.

* consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
