The "Pavilions Hotel Terranora" is a family owned and operated pub overlooking the Tweed Coast hinterland. We are expanding our team & are seeking an experienced Duty Manager with a strong Food & Functions background. This role would also suit an experienced Restaurant Manager/ Supervisor wishing to expand into a more varied role. We are a non-gaming venue. TAB and Keno facilities only.
With amazing panoramic views of the Tweed Coast & Hinterland and only 10 mins from Coolangatta, this multi-faceted hotel is extremely food & functions focused.
The hotel consists of:
* an upper level with a 250+ seat bistro, bar, TAB and Keno facilities
* the Tweed's only rooftop beer garden
* two large function rooms specially designed to cater for celebration events from birthdays to wakes, engagements to receptions on the lower two floors
* ground level with a Bottlemart Drive-Thru Bottleshop
* did we mention *** NO POKER MACHINES ***
As a Duty Manager, you will assist the owners in the overall running of the business with a strong focus on the Food & Functions business.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Hands On" approach to all aspects of the hotel operations/management
* Supervision & direction with all levels of staff
* Effective & efficient front & back of house management
* Lockdown of the venue at night's end
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU WILL NEED:
* At least One years' experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment
* Hold a current NSW RSA/ Service NSW Competency card
* Outstanding Customer Service
* Availability to work nights and weekends
