The Role:
Are you an experienced team leader with a passion for empowering people with disability and creating inclusive communities? This is your chance to step into a pivotal leadership role at a unique community accommodation setting, where every day is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
As the Team Leader – Disability and Inclusion, you will:
* Lead, supervise, and support a diverse team of Disability Support Workers
* Oversee day-to-day operations of supported accommodation and community inclusion programs
* Manage rosters, service coordination, client engagement, and regulatory compliance
* Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders and local networks
* Champion personal development and independent living for participants
* Implement strategic initiatives and lead continuous improvement in service delivery
* Be a key player in ensuring safety, risk management, and quality standards in line with NDIS and Assisted Boarding House regulations
Requirements:
Essential:
* Minimum Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or related field
* Experience supervising teams in disability or community-based accommodation settings
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership and de-escalation skills
* Strong knowledge of NDIS frameworks and person-centred approaches
* High-level organisational, tech and communication skills
* First Aid Certificate, NSW Driver's Licence, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Demonstrated experience in managing service operations and staff performance
Desirable:
* Food Safety Supervisor certification
* Experience in capacity-building programs and transitional accommodation
* Knowledge of Assisted Boarding House regulations
