Housekeeping Position
The role of Environmental Services Assistant is crucial in maintaining a safe and clean ward/unit environment, adhering to Infection Control and Occupational Safety regulations.
* Ensure all equipment used during shifts is properly cleaned, restocked, and stored in designated areas.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a friendly and supportive manner at all times.
* Adhere to infection control guidelines and principles.
About You
* Previous experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable but not essential.
* Availability to work morning/afternoon/evening and weekend shifts is required.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team structure.
* Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Proven experience in hazard identification.
* Knowledge of hygiene principles.
* Flexibility to adapt to a rotating roster with various shifts available.
* You will need proof of immunisation against infectious diseases for this role.
