Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Melbourne
We're Jetstar, a low-fare airline operating more than 3,000 flights a week across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific.
We maintain a fleet of over 80 aircraft, including Airbus A****** NEO, A320 family, and Boeing *****.
We're looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our high-performing Melbourne Engineering team.

Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance on company aircraft, ensuring timely and correct completion of all work.
Perform quality control of aircraft presentation prior to release.
Deliver quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard.
Ensure all WHS and quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
Comply with Jetstar's Safety Management System and all training and compliance requirements.
Work at other ports, including international locations, as required.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with contractors and outside service providers.
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (A******* experience desirable).
Excellent time-management skills and proven ability to manage self and others.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Previous experience in Base Maintenance.
Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle competing demands under pressure.
Valid driving licence and ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Licence.
Right to work in Australia/New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship.
Remuneration
All Jetstar Engineers in Australia are paid under the Jetstar Airways Engineering & Maintenance Enterprise Agreement **** (see reference).
