Key Driver Role
This is a prime opportunity for an experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods across Australia.
Job Description:
* Perform pre-departure safety checks to verify the vehicle's condition and readiness.
* Review load paperwork, confirm goods, and validate all delivery-related documentation.
* Ensure cargo is properly secured, covered, and protected to avoid damage or loss.
* Assess load weights and maintain correct, legally compliant weight distribution.
* Operate tipping, lifting, and other handling equipment safely during loading and unloading.
* Position the vehicle precisely to support smooth and efficient loading/unloading activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a valid HC/MC licence with a clean, current driving record.
* Minimum of 1–3 years of full-time experience as a professional truck driver.
* Solid understanding of road transport laws, fatigue management, and chain of responsibility.
* Demonstrated ability to complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate trip records.
* Skilled in safe load restraint, proper weight distribution, and careful handling of goods.
* Experienced in operating tipping, lifting, and other loading or unloading equipment.
