About the Role:
As a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of Kenworth Road Trains operating across various remote mining locations. You'll work independently and as part of a tight-knit team, ensuring our transport assets are safe, reliable, and ready for anything.
As a Leading Hand, you'll take charge to lead a team of HRT and HD mechanics. This role is both leadership-focused and hands-on. You'll oversee daily operations, support your team and step in as a mechanic where required, to ensure everything runs smoothly.
What do we want to hear from you?
Valid Australian Trade Certificate
White Card
HR Licence (preferred)
3–5 years' Road Transport experience
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Able to work independently and safely
Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to process
What's On Offer:
FIFO 2:1 Roster – Brockman4, Wiluna & Port Hedland
Flights paid from Perth (other selected capital cities considered for Port Hedland)
Super paid on all hours worked
Fortnightly pay with newly revised, competitive hourly rate
