Access Intelligence is a tech innovator, delivering high quality SaaS products that address the fundamental business needs of clients in the marketing and communications industries. We combine AI technologies with human expertise to analyse data and create insights to understand what has impact on an organisation and their key audiences - from customers to stakeholders, politicians to influencers and the media.
The evolving **Access Intelligence** portfolio includes **Isentia**, the market-leading media monitoring, intelligence and insights solution provider; **Pulsar**, the most advanced audience intelligence and social listening platform; **Vuelio**, which provides monitoring, insight, engagement and evaluation tools for politics, editorial and social media in one place; and **ResponseSource**, the network that connects journalists and influencers to the PR and communications industry.
**ROLE OVERVIEW**
We are looking for an interest in social media, a basic understanding of marketing and a can-do will-do attitude. As a BDR, you'll be interfacing with future Pulsar clients, so you should be personable, confident and up-to-date with news & current affairs.
This is primarily a phone-based sales role and therefore we want someone who loves selling, enjoys competition and can push on through hard times.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
The role of the "BDR" sits within the Pulsar commercial function and its primary focus is to source new business targets for a Business Development Manager to take into a sales process and ultimately turn into subscribing Pulsar clients. This lead development is largely done through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach and networking.
- On a day-to-day basis your time will be structured between lead generation, cold calling as well as training sessions. The objective of these calls will be to book in demos with potential clients within an area (i.e. agencies, brands or markets) and feed these leads to your business development manager.
- You will be working under guidance from your Commercial Director, but you will be responsible for generating your own leads through your own research, and managing the process of scheduling in any demos that have been confirmed.
- Our clients include: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Spotify, Mazda, Publicis and Havas, and your role will be to help expand to this list of amazing clients and brands.
**PROFILE**
- Prior experience of 12-24 months in a similar outbound sales role
- Able and willing to do cold prospecting. Previous cold calling experience is beneficial but not necessarily essential
- Ambitious and interested in a long-term career in sales
- Articulate with an excellent telephone manner
- Naturally organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Excellent communicator with a positive attitude
- Dynamic, confident and target driven self-starter
- Keen to learn with a great initiative
- Persuasive and persistent yet friendly and personable
- Able to take initiative to research contact and organisation information.
