Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking experienced Service Representatives to be based in Melbourne. You will perform a variety of field service tasks to support a diverse range of customer assets, with a focus on Secure Power (UPS, Batteries, Cooling) and Power Systems (Switchgear, Circuit Breakers across LV/MV/HV).
You will join a 24/7 Services team that supports hospitals, utilities, data centers and other facilities. The role involves travelling across the Victorian region and nearby locations to minimise downtime and maximise reliability, with high-quality training and ongoing development.
Responsibilities
* Complete a variety of field service tasks across the Victorian region and nearby locations.
* Collaborate with other technical team members to coordinate and execute installations, preventive maintenance, repairs and other ad-hoc tasks.
* Commissioning, site testing, system/firmware upgrades and ad-hoc troubleshooting.
* Provide technical support and specialist advice to customers.
* Act as a role model for HS&E requirements and adhere to internal processes.
* Document service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and manage inventory.
* Identify opportunities to expand service offerings that meet customer requirements.
Our ideal candidate
* A Grade (Unrestricted) Electrical License.
* Current Driver's License (Tool of Trade Vehicle provided).
* Previous experience in a similar Field Service or Maintenance role.
* Ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when required.
* Technical aptitude and a digital mindset engaged with new technologies.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a natural problem-solver/troubleshooter.
* Commitment to HS&E and ability to identify risks.
