Operations Assistant – Emergency Department

Remuneration : $64,514.11 – $66,198.95 per annum plus Superannuation

Hours Per Week : 38

What You’ll Be Doing

Assist in maintaining a safe environment for the safe delivery of patient care and support the Emergency Department in its daily operation activities.

Maintain a clean, well‑stocked working environment for the medical and nursing staff, collaborating closely with the Equipment Nurse, external stakeholders (Oracle, iProcurement, hospital stores) and the Health Services Clinical Products Committee to ensure adequate stocks are available in a busy and challenging work workplace.

- Demonstrated ability to function as part of a team in a complex, multi‑disciplinary environment and to relate to people at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage material resources and work unsupervised.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prioritisation of workload with flexibility to adapt to changing environments.
- Commitment to providing quality customer service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
