Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) is the national peak body representing professional fundraising in Australia and New Zealand. Its mission is to build a vibrant community of best-practice fundraisers and a culture of professional fundraising through education and training, support and advocacy, and the promotion and protection of the fundraising sector.
An opportunity exists for a passionate Marketing Manager to step into a newly created role to strengthen and expand FIA’s marketing function. The role would suit someone who can confidently and strategically deliver multi-channel campaigns, bring energy to our brand presence, and deepen engagement across the membership. This position offers the chance to shape impactful activity that supports growth across all our programs and services further elevating FIA’s voice within the fundraising sector.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
* Deliver FIA’s marketing, brand, and communications strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and campaign goals
* Work with a range of stakeholders to create and deliver multi-channel campaigns leveraging the CRM, AI and testing strategies to maximise results
* Oversee FIA’s digital footprint, including website (Experience Cloud), a robust EDM and social media schedule, SMS to strengthen engagement and performance across all audiences
* Ensure FIA’s brand integrity is upheld across all assets(digital and hard), and through all platforms
* Develop SEO and SEM campaigns to further strengthen the reach and impact of digital marketing strategies
* Manage and mentor the Senior Marketing Coordinator
What does our ideal candidate look like?
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or related field
* A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a marketing role
* Superior writing skills and a keen eye for detail
* Ability to manage integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels
* Experience with CRM’s and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred).
* Not for profit (including charitable fundraising), member association knowledge and/or experience is an advantage
* Full Australian working rights with NO restrictions
