Globally, Savills has been introducing innovations to market and delivering exceptional service to clients for over 150 years.About the RoleA unique opportunity exists for a Services Manager or Assistant Operations Manager to join one of our exciting Centre Management teams in Queensland. Working within the friendly and dynamic office, this role will allow you to showcase your existing skills and experience across facilities management while further expanding your capabilities and growing within a successful company. This opportunity will see you provide facilities management support across a portfolio of three shopping centres: The Village, Upper Mt Gravatt, Big Top Shopping Centre, and Kippa Ring Shopping Centre.Role ResponsibilitiesMaintain the presentation and operational function of the shopping centres to a high standardCoordinate and manage all maintenance works being performed by staff maintenance personnel, service contractors, and sub-contractorsOversee contract management – participate in operational contract reviews and monthly meetingsHVAC management, waste management, vertical transport managementDevelop, prepare and implement the Centre’s Annual expenditure and Capital BudgetsEstablish and implement sustainability initiativesEnsure preventative maintenance programs are being completed and reports receivedEnsure all risk assessments are completed before tasks are undertakenProvide regular monthly reviews of centre incident reports and trends, and implement appropriate programs to minimise incidents of risksThe Successful CandidatePrior experience as a Services or Assistant Operations Manager in a retail shopping centre environment or similarProven track record of achieving results within a retail shopping centre environment or similarDemonstrated people management and contractor management experienceHigh level technical knowledge within Facilities and Operations managementEstablished business acumen, excellent numeracy and financial skillsExceptional presentation, organisation and communication skillsRequire your own vehicle and driver's licenceIf property is your passion, Savills is all about the people behind the property.
