About the Role This is a unique opportunity for you to join the global leadership team of a well-established and values-driven organisation. Reporting directly to the General Manager ANZ, you will provide strategic and operational oversight to drive business performance, support senior leaders, and enable continued growth across New Zealand. You will be integral in shaping the business development strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering an outstanding, purpose-led culture. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership – Develop and implement national business strategies that align with broader organisational objectives and drive long-term growth. Operational Oversight – Ensure efficient and effective delivery across all functions, including project execution, service delivery, and system performance. Financial Management – Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. Governance & Compliance – Uphold corporate governance standards, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations, quality systems (e.g. ISO), and internal policies. People & Culture – Build and lead a high-performing leadership team, driving talent development, employee engagement, and a values-led culture. Business Development – Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, strengthening client relationships and expanding service offerings across New Zealand. Executive Reporting – Provide clear, timely, and strategic reporting to ANZ leadership, contributing to regional decision-making and operational alignment. About You Proven Leadership – You bring extensive experience in senior operational or general management roles, ideally within technical or project-driven environments. Commercial Acumen – You possess strong financial literacy, with a track record of managing budgets, driving profitability, and making data-informed decisions. Hands-On – You’re a strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves — balancing high-level planning with practical execution. Governance Knowledge – You have a sound understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and quality frameworks such as ISO standards.
