About the Vacancy
Support further growth by joining the maintenance team at our new facility in Marsden Park. Work closely with Maintenance Technicians and Operational teams to ensure automated facilities and systems maintain maximum performance and availability in our 24/7 temperature‐controlled plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor NewCold systems of automated plant equipment and follow standard operating procedures and OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance
* Ensure accurate and effective storage and distribution of goods within an automated warehouse
* Investigate and provide information to the technical team when required
* Identify issues and implement resolutions
* Undertake and manage height operations and rescue
* Assist trades with maintenance activities on site
* Proactively identify risks and take corrective measures
* Complete daily checks of the plant and take appropriate action to ensure the system operates to maximum efficiency
* Ensure accurate and prompt communication with internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills
* High-level computer proficiency; confident using software, reporting tools and automation platforms across multiple applications
* Experience troubleshooting in a mechanical, trades or automation environment
* Ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively
* Comfortable working at heights and in a cold storage environment
* Comfortable working in small spaces within a high‐volume automated facility
* Physical fitness, strength and flexibility required for the role
* Effective teamwork and independent working capability
Working Conditions
* Shifts: 4 on / 4 off continuous
* Driver's license required
* Training in working at heights / height rescue
* Forklift licence
* Advanced first aid certificate
