Access Hire Tom Price, part of Access Group Australia, is a major provider to the Australian sales and rental equipment industry, providing service, sales, and support. We have just opened a new branch in Tom Price and are looking for a hardworking and motivated General Hand/Maintenance to perform general housekeeping tasks around the office, workshop and yard. This position works Monday to Friday 7.00am – 5.00pm and assists with general repairs, cleaning, manual handling, and ensures the site remains safe, tidy, and operational at all times. This Is not a FIFO role, only Tom Price residents will be considered. Daily tasks will include Process equipment for hire or off hire Forklift operations Loading and Unloading machinery and equipment Washing machinery and equipment Carrying out manual handling tasks such as loading/unloading materials and moving equipment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any faults or damage promptly. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and site requirements. Support technicians with site and workshop tasks. Perform grounds maintenance such as sweeping, mowing, and waste removal as required. Carry out other duties as required. The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have: Previous experience in a general hand, maintenance, or labouring role preferred. Valid Forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating a Forklift is essential. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods. Strong communication skills A proactive and positive attitude as well as an exceptional work ethic A positive "can do" attitude. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. A commitment to working safely, in line with Company Health & Safety policies and procedures. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen. The successful candidate will be hard working, be able to work a minimum 47.5 hour week and maintain a positive attitude.
