Job Description
The Role of a Registered Nurse (RN) in Theatres, Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetic, and Recovery.
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to work in various theatre settings. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
* Collaborating with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
* Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* A minimum of one year's experience working in a similar role within Australia or a reciprocal country.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with English being your first or second language.
* Up-to-date immunisation records and rights to work in Australia.
