We are seeking a licensed bus driver to operate our daily bus service. The bus route will involve two return trips from Rockhampton to farms located near Gogango Queensland each day, five days per week. The role will provide transport to farm employees to our macadamia orchards.
This role can be filled by one individual working both shifts or as a job-share arrangement.
Shift options:
* Monday to Friday: 4:30am – 7:30am
* Monday to Friday: 2:30pm – 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a bus to transport passengers while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
* Maintain a clean and organised bus interior, including regular cleaning of windows and floors
* Conduct pre and post trip inspections to ensure it is in good working condition
* Comply with schedules and routes, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate delays or disruptions
* Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules and passenger registers
* Stay up-to-date with company policies, safety procedures and relevant regulations
Requirements
To be successful for this position, you will have:
* HR Class Drivers licence, with a sound driving record with no history of significant violations
* First aid certificate preferred
* Previous experience as a bus driver or professional driver preferred
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
* Punctual and reliable
* Ability to work independently and follow a schedule
* This role will be subject to a police check, driving history report and drug and alcohol testing

The successful candidate will be remunerated in accordance with the Passenger Vehicle Transportation Award at a Grade 3 level.
