Full Job Description
A well-established Toowoomba-based manufacturing company is seeking a Trade Assistant for an immediate start in their workshop. This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to move into permanent employment after a successful probation period.
This role suits someone with hands-on experience assisting trades, assembling machinery, agricultural equipment, or working in a production or mechanical environment.
You’ll be supporting tradespeople with assembly, testing and general workshop duties while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.
Duties Include
Assisting trades with assembly and fit-out of equipmentTesting and basic commissioning supportUsing hand and power toolsGeneral workshop duties and housekeepingFollowing plans, instructions and safety procedures
About you:
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, fitter’s offsider, mechanic’s assistant or similarMechanically minded with good attention to detailOwn basic hand toolsReliable, punctual and ready for Monday–Friday workLocal Toowoomba resident preferred
Pay rate is negotiable based on skills and experience, offering the chance to work with an employer of choice in a stable, growing workshop.
