English Teacher (Years 7–12) – Term 1, 2026 Start
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and skilled English teacher to join a leading independent school in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. You'll be teaching Years 7–12 across a well-resourced and supportive department, with the chance to inspire students in literature, language, and critical thinking.
Base pay
A$90,000.00/yr - A$127,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
* Teach English to Years 7–12 across the department, including delivering the HSC curriculum.
* Deliver engaging English programs with creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm.
* Contribute to student wellbeing and maintain strong classroom management.
* Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning and development where appropriate.
Qualifications
* Hold relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible in NSW).
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing.
* Strong knowledge of curriculum and assessment for Stage 4–6 English, including HSC preparation.
* Experience teaching English to Years 7–12 and a passion for literature and language.
* Creativity in lesson design and ability to foster deep student engagement and independent thinking.
