Growth, Engagement and Marketing - Communications Centre

The Communications Centre is an exciting department at ECU and has multiple teams that service both Current and Future student enquiries. We are a passionate team and pride ourselves on providing exceptional experience to all future & current students.

Day to day you will be responsible for supporting our Future Students Team that engage with students through a variety of channels including social media, online chat, email, inbound & outbound calling. You will also be responsible for assisting our officers with their enquiries, quality assurance and coaching to ensure optimum customer experience, problem solving, executing continuous improvement initiatives, and operating within our high performing, values based and student first environment.

Within the Communications Centre, we have a service dog in our office environment. All staff employed within the centre are to be mindful of the dog's presence, and whilst we understand that some individuals may have allergies or fears of dogs, we are committed to ensuring a comfortable and inclusive environment for all our employees.

About the Opportunity

We are excited to be offering this new and dynamic opportunity for a Senior Officer in our Future Students Team. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in supporting the Communications Centre in achieving its vision by:

Providing support to our officers who service enquiries, by providing technical knowledge on systems and processes, and assisting with escalated enquiries

Completing quality assurance assessments on enquiries across all channels, using our quality assurance framework, and provide subsequent coaching and feedback

Developing, contributing to, and executing training, onboarding, and knowledge documentation

Championing continuous improvement and work through continuous improvement initiatives via our framework

Collaborating across teams, supporting campaigns, projects, and outbound initiatives

Leading by example, modelling high-quality customer experience and effective communication

About you

Our ideal candidate will:

Work cooperatively with others to accomplish tasks and objectives

Investigate, identify and analyse key issues and develop practical solutions with creativity and innovation

Deliver feedback in a respective and constructive manner, with a focus on clear actions to improve performance to frameworks
