We are seeking a Conveyancer - legal property assistant to manage conveyancing files from start to finish with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own conveyancing files from initial instructions to settlement
* Handle off-the-plan transactions independently
* Draft correspondence and prepare legal documents
* Lodge documents and coordinate settlements
* Liaise with clients, banks, agents, and other stakeholders
* Manage PEXA and Duties Online
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in Victorian general conveyancing or currently assisting in a property team.
* Familiarity with PEXA and Duties Online is preferred
* Ability to juggle competing demands, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong client focus
Experience Level:
* Junior candidates with 1+ year of property experience
* Open to candidates looking to grow within property law
Location & Flexibility:
* Geelong Central office
* Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office
* Part-time options available (minimum 3 days per week)
