Mechanical Engineer - Building Services
Join a progressive engineering consultancy delivering sustainable and innovative building services solutions across commercial, education, healthcare, and defence projects.
You'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design and delivery of mechanical systems that shape high-performing, efficient buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Design and document HVAC and mechanical systems across diverse building sectors
Undertake load calculations, equipment selections, and system layouts
Coordinate with other disciplines, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless design integration
Support project delivery from concept through to construction and commissioning
Prepare high-quality technical reports, drawings, and specifications
About You
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
3-6 years' experience in building services design (consultancy experience preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Revit; exposure to modelling or simulation tools advantageous
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Passion for sustainability, innovation, and building performance
