Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of valued automotive business suppliers.
Your primary objective will be to foster enduring and high-quality relationships with all our suppliers, ensuring a seamless journey for all.
You will be responsible for steering the growth of all retail suppliers and fuel revenue through account education & retention, new business sales and add-on products.
You will identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, fine-tuning solutions to accelerate both client and business success.
You will roll out the welcome mat for new automotive businesses as you guide them onto our platform.
You will equip suppliers with the knowledge to navigate our platform, ensuring they're ready to perform.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain professional rapport with valued automotive business suppliers.
* Steer the growth of all retail suppliers and fuel revenue through account education & retention, new business sales and add-on products.
* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, fine-tuning solutions to accelerate both client and business success.
* Roll out the welcome mat for new automotive businesses.
* Equip suppliers with the knowledge to navigate our platform.
* Foster enduring and high-quality relationships with all our suppliers.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
Required Skills:
* Strong sales ability with a proven track record of shifting gears and exceeding targets.
* Driven to take the wheel and think beyond the garage with creative solutions to retain suppliers and help provide a return on their investment.
* Motivated and self-starting, with excellent interpersonal skills to build strong connections.
* Stay in the fast lane with strong organisational skills and exceptional time management to keep everything running smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Some mileage in the automotive industry would be beneficial, but we're open to individuals with diverse backgrounds, fresh outlooks, and stellar customer service skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft or Google Suite programs, especially Excel/Google Sheets, is beneficial.
* Confident under the hood of any software, you know how to troubleshoot, navigate systems, and keep digital tools running smoothly.
