Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical (ARH Tiger) – Airbus Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia 
Airbus has opportunities for permanent full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineers – Mechanical (AME Mech) to join the ARH maintenance team at Robertson Barracks in Darwin. 
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in the Darwin Maintenance team, you will work closely with a team of technical experts undertaking aviation maintenance activities supporting the ARH Tiger. 
The Role 
As an AME, you will report to the Team Lead Aircraft Maintenance, through respective Aircraft Technical Leads, and will be responsible for all ARH maintenance activities undertaken by the Darwin Maintenance teams. You will primarily perform ARH maintenance activities while also conducting off-aircraft maintenance and supporting operational units in industry-specific tasks, such as advanced systems troubleshooting and rectification, and aircraft or component modifications. This position requires interaction with numerous stakeholders to identify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements and plays an important role in maintaining customer satisfaction. 
Responsibilities 
- Conduct maintenance in accordance with the relevant regulations 
- As part of a team, undertake aircraft maintenance activities within your Quality Authorisations as directed by your supervisor, to ensure delivery of aircraft to meet the specified delivery schedule 
- Ensure that all aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activities are conducted effectively, efficiently, and performed, supervised, inspected and certified in compliance with either the Airbus Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) or 1 AVN MOE as applicable 
- Identify new opportunities for enhancement of maintenance services 
Qualifications / About You 
- Diploma Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation 
- High-level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment 
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices 
- Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications 
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction 
- Knowledge of and experience using CAMM2 is an advantage 
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
