The Mental Health Commission (Commission) is working to establish mental health, alcohol and other drug systems that meet the needs of Western Australia's population and deliver quality outcomes for individuals and their families. About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic applicant for the role of Assets and Business Services Officer.

About the role

This position provides essential operational and administrative support to the Business Manager, contributing to the effective coordination and oversight of core business services for the Commission. These services include corporate travel management, fleet management, facilities management, and asset management. The role also has responsibility for coordinating a range of administrative processes and functions within the Assets and Business Services Team, ensuring efficient and consistent service delivery.

Leadership

All MHC employees are expected to demonstrate leadership by adding value to the sector and the community. This role is required to model the behaviours and mindsets outlined in BuildingLeadership Impact, as detailed in the LeadershipExpectations framework.

The leadership context for this position is LeadingOthers, requiring the incumbent to motivate and support colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes that contribute to the objectives of the MHC.

In undertaking this role, the occupant is expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to a person‐centred approach, recognising and responding to the needs of individuals, their families, carers, and advocates. This includes working in partnership to achieve improved alcohol and other drug outcomes and better mental health outcomes across the community.
