About the Role
Brisbane Girls Grammar School welcomes applications for a solutions-driven IT Systems and Network Administrator to join our Infrastructure and Security team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to ensure secure and reliable connectivity within our networking environment.
The responsibilities of this role are crucial in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of the School's IT infrastructure, including:
- Managing and maintaining optimal performance, reliability, and security of the School's cloud and on-premises servers and applications
- Implementing security controls, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with Australian regulations and industry standards
- Monitoring the IT infrastructure for potential security breachers, and enhancing the School's cybersecurity strategy
- Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting various applications.

About You
You are an experienced Systems and Network Administrator with a strong background in server infrastructure and cloud-based IT solutions within a complex organisation. You possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in a computer-related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least five years of relevant experience (prior experience in the education sector is highly desirable)
- Network, server, and/or cybersecurity certifications
- Proven expertise in managing network and server environments
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check (also known as a Blue Card).
