About Us

We are a modern Australian law firm with a leading reputation. We focus on exceptional service, operational excellence and being at the forefront of employee experience. We work closely with Australian and international businesses, organisations and governments.

About the Role

The IT team is looking for an experienced Change Manager to support the delivery of our Workday transformation program. This is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract. Based in our Melbourne or Sydney office, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of business change activities for numerous allocated projects and conduct detailed impact assessments with stakeholder groups. You will also identify, manage, and resolve high‐impact risks and issues.

Additional Responsibilities

* Lead end‐to‐end change management activities across major Workday initiatives, including people, process and technology change
* Assess change impacts and readiness across diverse stakeholder groups in a national professional services environment
* Develop and execute change strategies that drive engagement, capability uplift and sustainable adoption
* Partner closely with project managers, SMEs and business leaders to embed change best practice into delivery

Key Skills

* Demonstrated experience delivering change management for enterprise technology programs, ideally Workday.
* Experience working in or with professional services environments is highly regarded.
* High level consulting skills, being able to confidently influence, engage and partner
* Exposure to AI‐driven solutions or technology‐enabled change strategies, and an interest in how these tools can support adoption and change
* Passionate about making change and driven to succeed

About You

This role is suitable for someone who operates in complex environments, understands ERP platforms and/or has had prior experience in the legal industry. Direct experience with Workday is highly valued.

Technical skills aside, you will actively take the next step to go above and beyond in all aspects of this role. You'll be passionate about the delivery of first‐class client service and will have excellent communication skills. You will use your innovative problem‐solving skills to patiently listen, understand and resolve issues faced by our staff. You will also have outstanding time management and organisational skills and are comfortable working with minimal supervision and receiving virtual support from your team.

Overall, you will be skilled in delivering on quality and eager to provide people‐focused support to Maddocks staff nationally.
