What is The Care Hub?
The Care Hub is an initiative that brings together a number of organisations to form an integrated team of professionals.
The aim of the Care Hub is to provide a wraparound service and team of staff to support effective assessment, planning and intervention to help support the Children, Young People and Families through the process and ensure all needs are met.
The team will be based from a single location in Bendigo, forming a collaborative, integrated team of staff helping support those entering care for the first time.
Your role:
You will work with families, children and young people referred to the Hub who are experiencing high risk family violence. We would like you to be able to conduct comprehensive assessments, so already having MARAM training would be advantageous and we need you deliver interventions that enhance parenting capacity and family functioning all through a family violence lens.
About you:
* Experience managing risk and safety
* Provide secondary consultation and co work with other practitioners through a family violence lens
* Develop key relationships and work collaboratively with DFFH
* Solid understanding of the Child Protection and Welfare system in Victoria
* Strong reflective practice skills
* An in depth understanding of family violence including perpetrator family violence
* Experience in applying contemporary family violence theoretical frameworks
