More information can be found on the CHS website.Clinical Forensic Medical Services (CFMS) is a well-established local service providing forensic medical care to patients from the ACT and surrounding areas. CFMS includes Clinical Forensics ACT (CFACT), contracted medical services to the AFP, Forensic and Medical Sexual Assault Care (FAMSAC), the ACT Health-based sexual assault service, and the 'Fitness To Drive Medical Clinic' (FTDMC). CFMS is a medical unit within Canberra Hospital and Health Services, supporting ongoing professional development for all staff.The position operates within the Public Sector Management Act (1994), the ACT Public Service Code of Conduct, and the professional requirements of the relevant Specialist College.Strong research links are maintained with the ANU, University of Canberra, and the Australian Catholic University. The hospital offers postgraduate teaching programs and a fully equipped medical library with extensive online and print resources.The preferred candidate may be considered for a conjoint position at ANU at an academic level matching their qualifications and experience. This academic position is held concurrently with employment at CHS and is subject to performance reviews. No remuneration is attached to the university position.
